Ways to Celebrate Memorial Day in Issaquah

May 22, 2017 - 1 minute read

Memorial Day honors those men and women who died while in military service.  It is also the unofficial start of summer and a 3 day weekend.  Many of us spend with families or heading out to the coast or mountains, but for those families staying closer to their home in Issaquah, we have a few fun activities to celebrate the three-day weekend.

Visit a Park in Issaquah

Take the kids to Veterans Memorial Field (120 2nd Ave NE, Issaquah) for a picnic or to play on the fun play areas. Visit Depot Park (67291 1st Ave NE, Issaquah) to play on the charming train themed play set. Lake Sammamish State Park is a great way to spend a leisurely weekend day.  Bike, walk, boat and play at this wonderful park located just minutes from your Issaquah apartment.
